You’re meeting a stranger. Chances are that you won’t fancy each other, or that only one of you will fancy the other. So don’t fantasise too much.
If your date is anything like mine once was, he (or she) might not look anything like the photo they used on their dating profile; at least, I hope not. If it doesn’t bother you to go out with whatever person turns up in front of you, great! But if potential irregular features make you anxious and make it harder to be yourself around the person sitting opposite, then take my advice: lower your expectations straight away.
Don’t expect flawless skin or white pearly teeth. Don’t expect to be swept off your feet by the first kiss. Instead, learn to appreciate this stranger for what they are: an individual who is worthy of love no matter what.
I thought I should mention that dating is subjective; one person’s perfect match might be another person’s nightmare date! So don’t panic if you think you didn’t click with someone during your first meeting. If it doesn’t work out, just chalk it up as experience and move on to the next one - there's plenty more dating fish in the sea!
So keep low expectations throughout your dating journey and focus instead on making real connections with people. You never know which of those strangers could end up being your perfect match!
So remember: dating is a journey, not a destination. And dating is subjective, so you might have to go through lots of dates before you find the one that clicks with you. Reduce your expectations and focus on making real connections instead. You'll know when you've found "the one"!

People who don't say hello People who "accidentally" touch me People who are late People with bad personal hygiene The list goes on. When I meet people for a date I'm expecting them to be punctual, clean, nice...all the good things! So if they show up late or not immaculate it throws me off a bit. My last date he had three pimples on his face, two of which were under his eyes (eek!), and one on his lip. I thought about saying something to him but figured that a) he had a right to know what I think of this and b) I didn't want to seem shallow. So yeah next time he should probably make sure not to look like a shattered cookie before dating

It's tough dating in Delhi! You don't wanna get too judgemental or specific with the "type". That way, you'll never meet anyone. Just go out there and try your best to have fun while dating. If the guy isn't your type, it doesn't matter because chances are another guy who is more suitable for you will show up at some point
