It seems that dating is not just dating anymore. It's all about dating apps. Have you already downloaded Tinder, Bumble and the rest of them?
If you haven’t, you are definitely in time to get yourself acquainted with these modern dating tools. We believe they can make your dating experience easier and therefore much more pleasant. You don’t have to deal with different excuses, fall in love in the first date or even pay for dinner; basically dating has never been simpler. Moreover, it lets you meet people who think like you do, talk like you do and act like you do which can ultimately lead to that much-awaited "happily ever after".
However, there is that thing called Tindstagramming: dating app users who’ve been blocked by someone and continue to stalk them on Instagram. This specific dating behaviour is so common that one needs to avoid it for sure.
One of the dating tips we can give you in this regard is to be very careful with your dating profiles and photos. Everyone wants to look their best, but there are limits you should not cross. There's nothing worse than find out that the girl/guy of your dreams never actually existed; all you have left is a photo and maybe some videos if they were particularly hot.
People tend to lie in dating apps, whether consciously or unconsciously: Either by posting an old picture (usually dating back at least 10 years) or using a filter in order to hide the wrinkles. There is also a dating trend called "likes on dating apps", which implies checking out who liked you first and then swiping right to match with them, no matter how unattractive they actually are.
The dating app users do not want to see your bare face, your family or children as well as all those other dating app features that can be found in Instagram through hashtags. You should definitely avoid posting pictures of parents having sex, a broken heart tattoo next to a former lover’s name and so on.
It doesn't matter if your dating profile is full of great pictures – if you have one photo used for several dating apps that makes it obvious that you’re using photos from 10 years ago, you will never get a date.
The dating app users might find out your lies and start spreading rumours about you, which will ruin your dating reputation in the dating world. It is much better to meet that person and let them realise that red lipsticks suit you much better than pink ones or that there’s no need to play hard to get: they know what type of relationship they want and it fits your dating preferences as well.
You should definitely be careful with dating apps and avoid any misconceptions regarding honesty. The dating tips we have given you are rather basic but very effective from our experience dating online for more than five years...

's often said that dating is a numbers game - but dating statistics also show that dating sites are notoriously skewed towards looks, with superficial profiles featuring photos of the most attractive individuals.
Now new research has revealed including too many flattering photos can backfire. If you want to get through the door on your first date, don't lie.
A study found while some dating site members find their perfect match by viewing each other's photo galleries, others may be looking more at the images selected.
Researchers from dating site OkCupid asked people to choose between two different dating profiles in terms of who they would like to meet for a drink or coffee. One profile featured three real pictures of an individual, and the second had only one - but it was an "idealised" photo.
In the dating profile with three pictures, the first was a picture of a date looking away from the camera, the second showed them smiling and facing towards the lens, and in the third they looked straight at it - as if posing for a portrait shot.
The dating profile with just one photograph saw that picture edited to appear perfect – but not too flattering – using Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.5. The dating site members were then shown two dating profiles and asked which individual they would like to meet for a drink or coffee.
Remember that you're marketing yourself and your best pictures will ultimately speak volumes about who you are as a person. The idea is to find someone special so don't misrepresent yourself - dating etiquette is dating etiquette for a reason.
Have your friends or family look at your dating profile photos to see if they like them and can relate to you. Or, have them ask their single friends what type of personality traits the person in the picture portrays - it could be very revealing.
And before uploading any photo, think about how it reflects on you as person who's looking for love online. Is there anything you wouldn't want someone else seeing? If so, maybe that photo isn't right for an online dating profile .
There are several tricks that dating sites use to help members find romance – one of which is showing users two profiles side by side full of similar-looking people based on their "preferences". So
