"Boy, it sure gets dark early." "Yeah. It's hard to believe anything else is out there when you look at the stars." "What do you mean?" "I don't know. You just feel so small under them, like nothings really all that important anymore." "... Yeah." Gently grab his hand and interlace your fingers together. Look into his eyes for a moment before standing up and facing him. "Hey, thanks for coming out with me tonight, I really had fun," you say softly as he stands up with you. "Oh yeah? Me too! Wow this date went by fast didn't it?" He replies with grin on his face as he tucks a strand of hair behind your ear. You just can't help but smile back at him. "Well, I hate to say this, but it's starting to get really cold out here." You look around and notice you're right next to each other in the grass with only a few leaves rustling above you. "Yeah.. maybe we should go inside now." You say as he takes his hand off of your cheek and steps closer to you. "So... I had fun tonight.." He starts as he looks away from looking into your eyes and down towards the ground. Oh no not another one of those. "I mean like yeah I'm exhausted and probably will be for about three days straight but it was worth it to do this with you." He looks back up into your eyes and leans his forehead against yours. "So..." He pauses for a moment before shutting his eyes, kissing you lightly on the lips, then pulling away slightly. You close your eyes too as this first kiss is slow and light, but full of promise. "... would you want to go out again sometime?" His voice cracks a little bit as he finishes asking you what he'd been dying to know all night. "Of course!" You say quickly as both of you're smiling ear to ear now. "Although I feel like I should be honest about something dating me might not be the most convenient thing ever." You look into his eyes for a moment to make sure he's all right with this before continuing. "I have my fair share of panic attacks, but I would never stop dating you because of it." "Oh... is that all?" He smiles at seeing your eyes light up as your smile gets wider too. "I know how they are pretty well actually. You can't control them, and they [removed] big time, but I'll be there for you every step of the way." You're both standing in silence now with a small blush on your cheeks as you take everything in for a moment. After everything thats happened tonight dating seems like such a distant thought to both of you now and just looking into each others eyes makes everything seem better than ever before. "Hey, you know what I think?" He suddenly asks as he leans a little bit away from your face. "What's that?" You ask innocently as you look into his eyes again. "I think we should stay out here for just another moment and stargaze together before we go back inside." You feel him grab your hand as you both lay down side by side in the grass now with only the bright lights of the stars above shining on you two. You can't help but smile at how right this moment feels and how it seems like nothing is wrong anymore. "Sounds good to me." You say gently as he immediately laces his fingers through yours and squeezes once before letting go. You both look up at the sky and point out different constellations for one another, trying to find new ones every time. You get lost in this moment for a while before you turn to him and ask "Hey do you believe in love at first sight?" "Oh yeah sure. I mean after tonight I could definitely say that." He replies as he looks into your eyes again and smiles softly. This night is slowly becoming the best date of your life and even if it wasn't dating this person still would have been fantastic! He leans over and kisses you on the cheek before saying "So... shall we go back inside now? Or do you want us to freeze out here?" You giggle slightly as you feel your cheeks turn red again and say "We should probably go inside now. I don't think either of us want to catch a cold." "Oh yeah, good point," he chuckles as he gets up and helps you up too before holding out his hand for yours. You take his hand in yours once more and look around one last time before heading back towards the house. Walking back through the front door together you both smile at each other for a second before looking away with tight smiles on your faces. "Hey umm..." He starts as he puts his hands into his pockets awkwardly while standing in front of you. "Would it be alright if we uh... kept dating?" You can see from the way he's looking at you that he wants nothing more than to date you now. "I would love that." You say as your face breaks out into a huge grin now because dating seems like the best idea ever right now. "Although I do have one condition, you've gotta come see me for my panic attacks even if it gets inconvenient for us both." He laughs slightly before saying "Of course I will." He pauses for a moment before continuing with his heart beating rapidly in his chest. "Well... goodnight then?" He asks as he looks down shyly. You giggle quietly to yourself before leaning up and kissing him on the cheek this time and watching as his face turns red too.
