Afternoon, not evening # hushcupid.com
If you meet at night, she’ll be wondering “Is he going to invite me home with him” or you might be thinking “should I invite her home with me.” This can cause anxiety that has no reason to exist. Remove that anxiety by meeting in the afternoon. I like coffee dates. You get a drink or some caffeine and talk for a few hours, then you say goodbye and go on your merry way. If anything romantic happens, great! If not, you don’t feel as if there is now a weight on your shoulders because you now have expectations of what they should do now- which would probably just ruin the entire dating experience anyway. It is especially nice to meet later in the afternoon when night is starting to roll around. It can be a very natural progression from meeting in the afternoon to going home with each other at night. We all know what happens after a few drinks or a nice dinner. Dating can be a lot less pressure if you meet at this time of day, and it is also always better to have one more drink before going home with someone- unless you aren’t drinking- which cuts out any need for an excuse of why you are not taking your date back home with you immediately. This can work well even if your lifestyles don’t fit together perfectly either. Meeting later in the day practically ensures that anyone who works nights has either already finished their shift or they won’t be starting for a few hours. This means that the other person doesn’t have to worry about their work or home life conflicting with their social life and dating schedule. Dating at night can take priority over anything else. Dating in the afternoon is less intense- you don’t feel as if your date will judge you because they might not be able to spend as much time with you as they would like- which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere between both parties. Dating later in the day allows everyone involved to relax and focus on what matters: having fun and getting to know each other better without worrying too much about serious things such as what uni courses they are taking, how many children they want, or their parents might disapprove. Dating in the afternoon or evening can be harder because people are relaxed about dating, but they are also more focused on themselves. Dating later in the day cuts out all of what could be considered irritating conversation topics and allows for only fun, lightweight chit chat. Dating later in the day means that you have probably eaten either lunch or dinner so you don’t feel guilty if one person wants to have a snack while the other wants an appetizer. What I find key here is being able to meet around noon- this is when most workers stop for their break or take a long work luncheon. Dating at this time ensures that both parties are available when that magic hour strikes after your drink(s) before anything starts happening between you. Dating in the afternoon is a great way to meet someone new and have something fun to do with them- without it being too intense or serious. Dating later in the day helps you both relax so you can really be yourself around each other, instead of worrying about what your date will think if they find out that you are not as smart as they are, or don’t have your life figured out just yet. Dating later in the day ensures that nothing is mutually exclusive between dates because there is still time before anyone has to go anywhere. Dating at this time of day also makes sure that no one feels like their relationship isn’t going anywhere fast enough, which causes unnecessary arguments and hurt feelings between both parties; dating at night can make people feel like they are in a race against everyone else in the world- and when they lose, things can get messy. Dating later in the day is also better because it ensures that both parties have experienced either lunch or dinner; if you eat before you drink, nothing bad will happen to your body and mind when it comes time for your date to end in a night of fun- and more depending on how well everything is going. Dating later in the day is truly my personal favorite way to meet someone new and exciting; if we end up not clicking then we aren’t wasting each other’s time by talking about things such as what kind of cereal we eat for breakfast, or how awful our Mondays usually are. Dating later in the day is a simple way to meet someone new and have a wonderful time with them, so you can both get to know each other slowly- without any unnecessary pressure or stress. Dating later in the day ensures that your date has already been fed before meeting up with you, which means nothing will come between your date and having fun when it comes down to actually eating during dinner. Dating in the afternoon is really the best when it comes down to finally going on your first date; you’ll be able to truly relax and enjoy yourself- no matter how much work is left undone – because if they don’t work nights then they won’t feel pressured into going somewhere else afterwards.
